Scope of services

Services provided by Dixit include translations in all language versions offered as well as quality assurance, text revision and editing, general language services, and education and training in a broad context. Services will be executed as carefully as possible and strictly in accordance with the highest professional standards. The principal will receive the requested service or services at a predetermined price on the date agreed by the parties. For translations, the Dixit fee schedule currently in effect will apply.

Dixit translations focus on the correct and accurate rendering of the subject matter, textual tonality and style. While the translation must reflect the original as closely as possible, the guiding principle to measure concurrence is the underlying intention of the author rather than a literal or word-for-word rendering of the source text.
